STK Albis Dance Sport Team

The team's history goes back about 20 years. Nonetheless, it has been supported by the Albis Culture Centre since 1990.

Formed as an associated group consisting of the best dance sport couples (all members either high school or university students) from Ústí nad Labem and Most (both cities in Northern Bohemia), the team has also successfully taken part in a number of national and international competitions, in which it has done justice to the art of Czech dance sport and to its own hometown of Ústí nad Labem.

Since 1990 the team has been led by Ms. Petra Kadlecová, its main organizer, together with the current team's coach and choreographer, Mr. Jan Tománek, acting as one of the group's dancers as well. Along with its many Czech appearances, the team has toured Germany, Austria and Lithuania and it has continuously operated as the Vice-Master of the Czech Republic last six years. Among its most significant achievements are:

Meisterschaft Östereich '95 - Salzburg - 3rd place
Mannheim Open '96 - Mannheim - 4th place
Meisterschaft Östereich '96 - Graz - 3rd place
World Formation Latin Championship '96 - Vilnius - 8th place
